Emily Myers

Senior Director, Advancement Solutions

What is one Slate thing you are proud of?

I’m proud of my ability to translate items from different instance types – leveraging my Advancement background and interpreting how items used in Advancement can be helpful in Admissions and vice versa. Slate provides many of the same building blocks in both instance types and I enjoy finding ways to configure them to help my clients get the most out of Slate.

Hanna Kroskie

Director, Advancement Solutions

What is your favorite Slate tool?

Configurable joins! I did not come from a tech/coding background so it has been so nice to be able to get every datapoint needed just through configurable joins and not worrying about SQL.

Jake Daly

President & CEO

What's your favorite way to engage with the Slate community?

Slate Summit. There’s nothing like the energy that comes from bringing Slate users together under one roof to learn, brainstorm, and celebrate.
What to know

We’ll break down the process of building large-scale, complex events in Slate, using Reunion Weekend as a real-world example. But don’t worry—the skills and strategies you’ll learn apply to any major event. You also don’t need to be a Post Captain Consulting client to join. Just bring your curiosity and get ready to dive in!

How much does it cost?

Registration is $299 per person.

Where is it being held?

This workshop is being held at the Flamingo Las Vegas in the Mesquite Meeting Room, located at 3555 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV, 89109.

What should I bring?

Just a laptop and charger—we’ll take care of everything else.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes! We’ll have a selection of beverages and snacks between sessions to keep you fueled.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel by May 24, 2025, you can either get a full refund or transfer your registration to someone else at your institution. After May 24, we’ll still allow transfers, but refunds won’t be available.

Wait, is this your reception?

It is not. Our reception is currently full, but you can join the list to be the first to know if any spots open up: "After-Hours" at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails on Thursday, June 26.
